DEUS EX MACHINA – The Sacred Code is a cycle of post-sacred icons that examines how technological progress inherits the structure, language, and desire of faith.
Rather than depicting a simple conflict between past and future, the series proposes a continuity: the same human impulse that once produced altars, rituals, and redemption narratives now reappears in code, interfaces, and computational promise.

Each work operates as a contemporary icon—an image built to be read, not merely seen. The motifs of angel, dove, temple, confession, scripture, and throne are not revived as nostalgia, but recalibrated as symbolic infrastructure: belief translated into systems, transcendence reframed as optimization, salvation rehearsed as upgrade.

The series does not ask whether humanity will replace God. It asks what happens when the desire for the absolute migrates into machines—quietly, convincingly, and without noticing its own theology.
In the final work, authority remains—yet the figure disappears. What is left is a structure of power: a throne that no longer requires a face.
